C3F, Ciments des Trois Frontières

Located on a site connected both by rail and river to the Port of Ottmarsheim (Haut-Rhin), the cement grinding facility Ciments des Trois Frontières (C3F) will principally supply customers in Switzerland in addition to the markets of Alsace and Bade-Wurtemberg in Germany.

Authorizations for this site, construction and ICPE permits, have been granted for an annual capacity of approximately 240,000 metric tons.

Completion of this project will be in association with a chosen partner.

The constitution of this strategic partnership is very much advanced, and site construction should begin in the second half of 2022 for a planned production start in 2023.

Ultimately, the site will employ 32 direct jobs and will generate just as many indirect jobs.
