Val de Loire Ciments

Located on proprietorial land connected to the rail network within the Méron industrial zone of the Montreuil-Bellay (Maine et Loire) commune, the Val de Loire Ciments project is ideally situated at the centre of the growth markets of Western France and the greater Paris (Ile de France) area.

The construction permit for this plant has been given and the authorization of the ICPE permit was granted in June 2019.
The construction of the factory will begin according to Aliénor Ciments and Rhône Ciments ramp upand to  respect the reproduction and nesting period of the Little Bustard, an emblematic protected species present in the region, and this in agreement with the authorities and local associations for the protection of the environment.

The site will have an annual capacity of 480,000 metric tons thanks to the construction of two grinders.

At full capacity, employment at the site will be the equivalent of 36 full-time jobs.
